Welcome To Kolor Waves Glass

I create unique glass art using three methods:

  • Lead glass: this method is familiar to many and is commonly seen in public and religious buildings.
  • Copper foil: introduced by Tiffany Glass to accommodate intricate designs.
  • Fused glass: also called kiln-formed or warm glass. In this method the hand-made stained glass is heated in a kiln at temperatures over 1000 F to melt the glass as desired.  Often several firings are required to achieve the final desired effect.

Each method is represented in the galleries of my work. In the menu bar under PROCESS, you see photos of the steps involved in each method.
